Scott Cantrell of The Dallas Morning News reviewed the choir of Clare’s College, Cambridge performing on Sunday 28th September 2014. The concert was held at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas and featured predominantly English music including pieces by Jonathan Harvey, Benjamin Britten and William Walton.

Cantrell praised the rendition of Jonathan Harvey’s ‘Come, Holy Ghost’:

“The most striking work, performed with singers scattered all around the church, was the late Jonathan Harvey’s “Come, Holy Ghost.” The plainsong Veni Creator melody was variously wrapped in quiet clusters and counterpoints, and an improvisatory section evoked singing in tongues.”
