Jonathan Harvey’s musical homage to the French composer Olivier Messiaen, Tombeau De Messiaen, will be performed next week (May 8th) at Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall as part of the Royal College of Music’s From The Soundhouse series of concerts.  Also performed will be  String Quartet No.4 and Ritual Melodies in a tribute to Harvey’s ground breaking music after his death last December.  Today (May 3rd) would have been Harvey’s 74th birthday.
