Jonathan Harvey’s musical manuscripts, writings, correspondence and recordings are now available for musicological research in a collection at the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel. They have recently been moved to the Foundation, as arranged with Jonathan before his death, thanks to support from André Hoffmann.

The documentation of Jonathan’s work offers greater understanding and appreciation of the extent of his skill as a composer and the way in which he composed, including the Buddhist influences on his work and the blending of traditional instruments with electro-acoustic sound sources.
