Eliza McCarthy, the 2013 winner of the British Contemporary Piano Competition, will be preforming Jonathan Harvey’s ‘Tombeau de Messiaen’ at 1pm on the 6th of November at the Martin Harris Centre in Manchester.
George Crumb’s ‘Processional’, Tansy Davis’s ‘Loopholes and Lynchpins’, Luciano Berio’s ‘Encores’ and Joe Cutler’s ‘Buckley’s Hot Licks’ will also be performed by McCarthy, in a concert of piano pieces written over the last 50 years.
The University of Manchester has programmed the concert, and admission is free.
